Trailer looks great. This is where I get off the marketing train though. I’m sure Holland is getting truckloads of cash, but I’m sure the year long break from acting probably helped him come to that realization too.
I definitely think it was mostly a negotiation tactic, but I totally forgot about the break, so that’s a really good point
Seems the most likely, as Benedict Wong likely costs less that Cumberbatch, and he's technically the Sorcerer Supreme right now.
Rumors are heating up about another returning Fox character cameo in Deadpool. I think someone hinted at it awhile ago though
working with George Miller definitely lit something inside of him. hoping he moves away from Marvel now!
Now that he realizes that, I wouldn’t against giving him one more go at it to give us a solid ending.
He's definitely staying with Marvel and has said he wants to make a Thor 5 that is more serious in tone.
Which is why I prefer Infinity War Thor to any other Avengers version of Thor. He had is own arc that complimented the overall story of the film and wasn't a random side quest like in Ultron. The conflict with Thanos in Infinity War started and ended with Thor. Thor's lust for revenge instead of wanting to just prevent Thanos from using the gauntlet was essential to the blip. His importance was much heavier in that film. I'd argue Thor was the 2nd most important character in that film behind Thanos.
I feel like Loki’s current position in the MCU lends itself to a potential more important/serious story for Thor.
Yeah but what if we got Halle Berry instead and not the dude that’s an abuser and talked shit on Ryan Reynolds for years
