Aren’t there multiple silver surfers in the marvel universe and they are male and female? Idk much about the character but people getting mad about that is dumb, but not surprising

 

Articles are specifically naming her role as the Shalla-Bal version of Silver Surfer, Shalla-Bal actually being Norrin Radd's wife in the comics, so maybe they're doing a reverse origin where it's Shalla-Bal who gets exiled and not Norrin.
