As someone who deals with anxiety, I can't possibly imagine how it would feel to do something you're proud of and be excited to show it to the world and then watch as tons of people tear it apart and tell you, directly or indirectly, how much it sucks. I literally would not be able to cope with that.
I don’t agree with focusing on “stronger franchises” really, but I agree that the volume of output should be reduced. But also… aren’t there 4 movies slated for 2025 lol?
I hope that Blade gets the ball rolling on some of the more supernatural stuff. Gigantic space battles are nice and all, but werewolf by night felt like such a breath of fresh air and it’s a bummer that there’s been nothing more done to tap into that side of things. Give me street level stuff and supernatural stuff.
watching Daredevil again, I forgot how hard that Fisk/Matt scene in s2 goes. the delivery of "YES THE SON OF A BOXER" just absolutely fucks
Jessica Jones s1 is essential but a very tough watch at points. I prefer DD s3 and LC s2 over their first seasons too
oh yeah Iron Fist s2 is kind of a blast. still very dumb but it knows exactly what it is at least. Sacha Dhawan and Alice Eve were fucking fantastic that season
Charlie Cox gave my single favourite performance in the MCU right there. s3 gave him so much good stuff but that scene in particular is something else, man
Yes, the big fat thick red fingers of... Mephisto. Jokes aside, still weirded out that we're going to have every major Hulk character in this film but no indication of the man himself.
