Her name is jula Harjo though and she has been getting smaller roles in native shows, she was in a episode of Rez dogs last year

I think she has the role of an ancestor in echo though early on

 

I’ve probably said it before but I’ll say it here too. I worked with a Native guy with the last name Harjo for about a year. I changed jobs and started working with another Native guy named Harjo. I text the original and was like “hey do you know this guy? Are you related?”

And he was like no you white idiot Harjo is like being named Smith

 

He didn’t say white idiot but he meant it

 

yeah man all the natives in Oklahoma are Harjo it’s wild

i learned that sooooo long ago (when googling about the reservation dogs creator sterlin harjo like a month ago)

 

I had a weirdly opposite experience where I had to remind my Indian parents in law that Patel is a very common name lol.

Our best friends are the Patels, and my in laws kept asking “do they know ______” as if there aren’t 10,000,000 Patels in the world lol

first review I'm seeing for Echo from some one I can actually trust is being genuine (only 3 eps but still more than half the show)

 

I’ve lost the ability to discern what is what as far as reviews go. It’s all hyper anecdotal these days since everyone’s feed is so personalized but I have seen decent reviews for some of the movies I thought were horrible (Dr. Strange 2, Thor 3) and horrible reviews for some stuff I thought was fun/fine (Ms Marvel, She Hulk, Ant Man 3). Looking forward to seeing Marvels when it is available for purchase next week and Echo whenever I can find free time once it drops.

 

Mostly hoping to get an idea of how they handle fighting and the overall mood for an idea of how MCU Daredevil will go

I'm not expected Echo to be re-run material, but just hope that it's a good 3 - 4 hours of fun and getting to know more of these characters.

 

The Netflix shows have been added to the ‘MCU Timeline Order’ on D+

No question now that they are canon.

Luke Cage, Iron Fist, and Defenders take place between Ant-Man and Civil War. Punisher takes place between Black Panther and Doctor Strange.

 

Looks like I have some homework to do.
