“I wanna do a Marvel movie,” he added. It took a lot of drafts on email to make sure that I conveyed the sincerity of how sorry I was to have to back out,” Yeun said. Asked what Marvel movie he would like to work on in the future, Yeun replied, “I think it’s too early to say that. I probably pissed off too many people leaving, so I’m just gonna say, ‘Thank you for having me.'” “I have some ideas,” Yeun teased. “But I heard if you put it out there, you’ll never get it, so I’ll keep it close to my chest.” Marvel would be foolish to not find a new role for him ASAP.
yeah say it time passing pulled him out of it makes me feel like he’s over it, I don't think he’d come out and say fuck the MCU or anything so he’s going to say nice things. I just wouldn’t be surprised if he never ends up in anything marvel related.
I highly doubt he’d say he wants to be a Marvel movie if he in fact doesn’t. The “time passing” comment doesn’t seem to be code. Due to the strikes and the constant push back of production for Thunderbolts, it’s easy to see how it became a scheduling conflict. Kirkman’s quote of him talking to Steven after he tried the outfit seems like he was looking forward to it, too.
I wouldn’t say it’s positive vibes because we’re still losing Steven. It’s just not making baseless claims of cynicism.
I'm trying to be less of a dick and still get told my opinion is wrong. All I said was based off of those comments I think he's out on the MCU. It's my opinion, I'm not stating it as fact. He doesn't want to burn bridges, he's not going to say fuck the MCU, I'm out.
I don’t have my glasses on yet, so I read burn bridges and burn burgers and was so impressed with Grimace’s commitment to the McDonald’s bit lol
I wonder if he just emailed like Marvel @ mcu.com like “sorry fam I gotta bounce” must be such a stressful email to send, although I’m sure his agent communicated first lol
If we're coming across as mean, I'm sorry. I thought you posted your opinion so we could discuss it. Edit: Also, no one is flat out saying you're wrong. We just disagree with your interpretation. That's our opinion.
He didn't want to give up a lead role to be in a movie for 12 minutes, there may be more but that's the gist of it
