First time even seeing that Twitter page as a leak source, so I’m going to call bullshit. Not that I really trust any leakers anyway, but I especially don’t think I’m going to trust a source that isn’t even posted on r/MarvelStudiosSpoilers
I wouldn’t be surprised if its something close to it. What else would be “beyond” the spiderverse in a movie called beyond the spiderverse?
Yea, I don’t think incorporating live action Prowler was just a stand alone idea. Maybe not all three will be in it, but I would shocked if at least one of them doesn’t show up. And oh yea, they showed clips of them in the second one. They’re showing up haha
I was going to say who says they'll be animated, but they've already shown that animated characters retain their animated form in a live-action universe, so I guess they would be to maintain consistency. Would be kind of cool to see a couple of animated characters in a largely live-action world. Very Roger Rabbit.
Gotcha, but I don’t see it being an issue. It could totally happen. While not exactly the same, I feel like Miss Minutes from Loki comes across to me as an animated character in the way Miles and Gwen would be.
My bad, I don’t mean that I see an issue with it. I think it’d be pretty cool actually. I just think that Twitter user is making it up. Lol
So we're one episode away from finishing Secret Invasion, and I'm almost reluctant to talk about it because I feel like I'm just inviting people to get on my case, but I've been enjoying it. Maybe it's because I already knew what it was about going in, so I'm just going with the flow, but I like that it's a smaller scale conflict centered on Fury without bringing any other Avengers into it. I do dislike that Maria Hill and Talos got killed off, because their banter with Fury was a highlight, and their presence will be sorely missed. I'm not sure that G'iah is a fair replacement, although that's not a knock on the character or Emilia Clarke, I just think they haven't cultivated much interaction between Fury and her yet to develop a camaraderie. I do like the insight into Fury's life. I like the interactions between him and Priscilla, and I find interesting the implication that Fury was only as good as he was because he had Talos and the Skrulls helping be his information network. I also liked that the minute Gravik showed bad boss tendencies, a number of his followers turned against him and tried to kill him. Didn't help them though, but I like that realistic kind of reaction. Anyway, after we finish the last episode tomorrow, we'll go see The Marvels next weekend. Hopefully it'll still be in theaters by then.
For me, it really fell off in that last episode. Will be interested in how it makes you feel about the show.
I'm not mad about what happened to those characters, I'm mad about how it happened and how little impact it has. That's the definition of the MCU right now: all action, no impact. It's got no weight behind it and that's upsetting when they are interesting characters or wasted potential.
I'm not sure if I'm following you exactly, but your post reads like you're okay with the fact that they were killed, just not with the way they were killed? Or is it the fact that they were killed simply to service Fury's story?
