If the presence of Skrulls does mean a Secret Invasion film down the road, man, that could be cool, but if it gets set up in other films beforehand, I hope the infiltrating Skrulls don't derail things. I've had no problem with Infinity Stones in solo films, but revealing that a main character in a solo film wasn't really that character would really mess up some storytelling.
I feel like the new Thor trailer kinda confirmed early on that the Infinity War teaser wouldn't be released yet. No reason to distract from a new trailer for a film that comes out only two weeks before Justice League. They've gotta get some more Thor hype and leave people still hungry for more. The first Age of Ultron trailer dropped in late October, and the first Civil War trailer in late November. Ragnarok comes out on November 3. I imagine the first proper Infinity War trailer will be in late October/early November to be attached to Ragnarok and give it one last big push.
Yeah you'd have to think that it'd be none of the main characters (or at least none with a standalone film). One interesting shout for a Skrull I've read online so far is Pepper Pots and her possibly playing Veranke, she's in a fairly powerful position knowledge wise to orchestrate something and and would give Gwyneth some big onscreen time. Still I'd personally rather someone more powerful being a Skrull. Still whatever happens it'll be really awesome to see the Secret Invasion plan come to light in the MCU.
Since there isn't a Captain Marvel thread I'll post this here. Rumored CAPTAIN MARVEL Details Suggest An Appearance From Mar-Vell, Original Ms. Marvel Costume & More
That's what was once believed, but apparently Marvel can use Skrulls after all; they just can't use some specific Skrulls, like the Super Skrull. (Similarly, Fox has the rights to Uatu the Watcher, but Marvel can still use the Watcher race.)
I knew that Thought it was just a throw away scene. Excited to know he makes another appearance even if its just another throw away.
The Howard appearance in vol. 2 was as fun but throwaway as in vol. 1, just in the actual film instead of after the credits. Howard really couldn't work on Marvel television, but I'd love to see him keep popping up in the films. Give him a cameo in Ragnarok, and then another in Avengers. I'd even be happy with him inexplicably ending up on earth ("trapped in a world he never made!") and having a cameo in Spider-Man or Doctor Strange.
You have enough bad ideas that I can't tell when you are or aren't kidding, lol. (Though, while 100% unrealistic, Howard on TV is maybe one of your better ideas, joke or not.)
