It was, it's true, and we have no way of knowing how many of those people came over when the divisions merged, but I can't imagine they'd look at the success of those shows and not take something from it. I thought Moon Knight was a good step in that direction.
I think we’ll get similar stuff with these Spotlight shows so I don’t disagree. I just wanted to make that distinction. But people are absolutely looking too deeply into them saying they want the next Thor to have a darker tone. Almost every MCU movie has a darker tone than the last two Thor movies. I really don’t think it means much and everyone is once again setting themselves up for disappointment
they should get back who wrote the "your rap sheet's so long your record could put out a record" line from Luke Cage and simply get them to write everything going forward
Actually by “darker” they mean “more like Thor: The Dark World, that movie we all unanimously agree is a fun lil cape flick.”
…honestly, though. They should wait another, like, four years before developing a fifth Thor movie, so that they can use the current Immortal Thor series by Al Ewing as inspiration. And then, yeah, get Gareth Edwards to direct because he’d make Toranos look so epic.
