Finished Loki Season 2 last night and saw The Marvels today. Damn, Loki holding all those threads really is symbolic for the franchise. That boy is holding on for dear life.
Iman Vellani Confronts 'The Marvels' Box Office Flop: Talk to Bob Iger I just really like this excerpt. Kid's got a good head on her shoulders.
I posted this in the Doctor Strange thread since it’s been pretty active the last couple days, but I’ll share here too. Rumors popping again that Raimi is one of the top choices to direct the two Avengers movies. I love Raimi and I like MoM, but I do not want him anywhere near the Avengers movies.
New topic: if you had to choose a core roster for whatever Avengers team we're leading toward, who would be on it? This is putting aside that almost anyone could probably be called upon to be an "Avenger", if they were willing and available. But these would be the ones where if they had a base, they'd be actively in it. I think to make the most of the new cast that's been introduced, and without stepping on the toes of Young Avengers or Thunderbolts, I'd come up with something like: Captain America II as co-leader with Captain Marvel, Dr. Strange, Hulk, She-Hulk, Moon Knight, Shang-Chi, Sersi, Ant-Man, Wasp, and War Machine.
Interesting. Personally, I didn't choose Daredevil because he's much more of a street-level hero and usually wouldn't be caught up in Avengers-level threats. And Spider-Man could go back to Sony at any moment, so I'd rather the MCU not paint themselves in a corner by tying him to the Avengers too tightly. But you'd choose Scarlet Scarab over Moon Knight? Why?
I’d like Moon Knight to be with any superhero team up between Strange, Werewolf by Night, Ted, Blade, Elsa Bloodstone, Punisher (maybe?) and Agatha. If I could pick one to join the Avengers it’s Scarlet Scarab because 1) looks cool 2) haven’t seen much of her. She also seems like one of the “safer” members of the group above that wouldn’t have a difficult time with others.
