would be a huge get, but they do caveat it in the article by saying it’s contingent on him finishing gladiator 2 and TLOU s2 on time. which, sure, is possible but seems like a stretch/hardly a given.
They start LOU2 in January and if they follow the game then Pedro will probably only have a big role in the first couple episodes. Gladiator 2 is supposed to start filming in a couple weeks. FF isn’t releasing until May 2025 so I’m sure Pedro will be free by the time they start filming it.
ehhhh i disagree. after hearing it will be 3 seasons, i don't think THAT is happening until late in the season but yeah, there were further tweets that as long as there aren't delays, he should be fine
Season 2: The Last of Us Part 2. Season 3: The Last of Us Remastered. Season 4: The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered.
Yeah I really think there is no way they can structure the story the same for the show as they did for the game. They’re either going to reorganize it a bit or spend more time with Ellie and Abby in their teen years before jumping forward. Probably a mixture of both tbh.
i don't really want to have the gaps filled between games 1 and 2 tbh. but yeah, pacing out 2 a bit more across multiple seasons would be a good move.
I wouldn’t mind if they fleshed out the father daughter dynamic between Joel and Ellie and had a few flashback sequences that take place between games 1 and 2. (That weren’t in the game already)
I’m not familiar with who that is, but MCU fans on Reddit are absolutely some of the dumbest fans I’ve encountered
You know how I know he rules? Chapo Trap House came into being in part due to him. I know how much you love the Chapo guys!
I know he was in Doctor strange, but marvel has allowed actors to double dip before and this would be near-perfect casting
Marvel hasn’t double dipped someone with a major role where they’re easily recognizable. Also John Campea is joke so even taking it with a grain of salt is too much from that dude
It would only work if Doom is already scarred and we never see his face. Otherwise it's too weird. I mean, double dipping with Ali is weird enough, but I understand it's happening because it's such a great get, it was Ali's request, and at that time Marvel TV was, admittedly, adjacent to the MCU instead of firmly a part of it. But in this case, Mads played the main villain in a film. It just would be really weird unless something is done to mitigate the issue.
