I'd be pretty glad to see SLJ pop up all over the MCU again.

 

ah, that's not so surprising. hoping to see War Machine pop in, given that character's connection in the comics.

 

Figured I'd post here also since I'm a bit behind.

Got to see an early screening of Homecoming and it's great. Not Spider-Man 2 great, but a close second. Tom Holland was like, born to play this character.

Black Panther and Ms Marvel are the next two I'm really really looking forward to.

Also idk how unpopular/hot this MCU take is but Dr Strange was underrated af

 

The actor who plays War Machine isn't even on the lists for Infinity War/Avengers 4. I doubt we'll be seeing him anytime soon. Maybe somewhere down the line in phase 4.

i'm just talking about in Captain Marvel

 

I didn't even think there was a chance War Machine wouldn't be in Avengers 3. That better not be the case. His back Issues shouldn't matter if he's in the suit right?

 

He could barely walk at the end of Civil War. That would be a problem during a fight, even in a suit.

 

I wouldn't mind if he lays out for a while. Civil War needed to have a wounded warrior. At least have him lay out in Infinity War and maybe bring him back to join the new team in Avengers 4....or 5.

 

just wanna take a minute and gush at the fact that this MCU thing even exists. i still cant believe it sometimes. as a kid i loved Marvel comics and the TV shows so having an entire cinematic universe with all these characters and genres is just so wonderful.

binging some MCU since i have two days off. Dr Strange is still so underrated in the MCU fanbase imo.

 

i only wish X-Men, Blade, Fantastic Four, and some other non-Marvel Studio properties were part of this universe. the X-Men are my favorite superhero "team" i guess so id love to see like Storm or Cyclops or Beast interacting with the other characters. i like Scott Lang as a character but i wish Hank Pym was Ant Man, if only because i want to see him interact with Banner, Stark, and Strange. if it were up to me Ant Man/Wasp wouldve been a phase 1 movie and Pym wouldve played a pivotal role in making Ultron kind acting as the deciding factor between Banner and Starks arguing. Blade and Ghost Rider are two of my favorite Marvel characters just because they take on the more gothic, horror side of the Marvel universe and im always down for stuff like that. id stick Blade in with The Defenders but only after their first time teaming up, he'd basically come in and be like "the world is a lot more dangerous than you all realize" and he'd kinda help bridge the gap between The Defenders/smaller scale heroes and The Avengers/X Men.

side note im very excited for Ms Marvel and i hope she is the gateway for some more cosmic/strange characters to enter the fold. i wouldnt be opposed to the Silver Surfer appearing and since we've already established the Nova Corp i see no reason why Nova couldnt make an appearance. another hero i want is Namor, hes a total badass and would be a great foil for Stark. We know Atlantis exists in the MCU, i think it was shown on a map in Agents Of SHIELD, so im sure Namor will be coming soon. he may be an Inhuman so thatll be an interesting direction to take him.

side side note i still cant fucking believe we're getting the Inhumans of all things in the MCU. like, if you think GOTG were an obscure bunch then the Inhumans were borderland nonexistant for a time. while they essentially boil down to "hey what if we had X-Men but in spaaaaaaaace" theyve ended up being a very interesting facet of the Marvel universe and im so happy to see Black Bolt on scree.
