I have now fallen quite a bit behind the MCU for the silly reason that I don't want to watch the films on my own. At some point I should just binge-watch the films I'm missing shouldn't I

Is Secret Invasion worth bothering with?

 

secret invasion was such a bore

 

Secret Invasion is bottom tier MCU, but I'm a completionist, so I suffered through it all.

 

Secret Invasion was not really good. Had a couple good performances. Boring CGI fight in the finale. Whatever. You could just read the plot summary on wiki and be fine.

 

I don't know the answer to this question, but I can commiserate.

Ever since I moved back home, I've been watching MCU stuff with my mom as a way to spend time with her, but since I started working again, it's been harder for me make time to watch the shows with her, and I'd feel bad if I tried to watch it by myself.

So I still haven't seen Ms. Marvel, She-Hulk, or Secret Invasion. I definitely can't watch Loki without her either as Loki is her favorite.

 

I just watched a recap on YouTube for Secret Invasion lol. It's the only MCU thing I haven't watched but I wasn't that interested and only heard bad things so I skipped it.

 

never watched What If, animated tv is tougher for me to care about

 

I think What If was interesting and fun, but I don't think any of it will have an impact on the overall MCU, despite a version of Captain Carter showing up in Dr. Strange.

Shame we'll never get that spin-off of T'Challa as Star-Lord.

 

What If was sort of interesting at times. But stuff like, what if Thor was a party dude was pretty stupid.

 

Tbf I think I only watched like half of What If? Not really my thing.

 

I barely remember that episode and reading the plot on Wiki doesn't help. I really only remember Loki, and then only vaguely.

 

I kind of want to do a rewatch of Phase 4, but I don't have the time right now to devote to it.

I was thinking yesterday though about all the hooks and plot points that haven't been followed up on yet, and it's kind of a lot.

I'm less concerned about it so much as curious about what will be wrapped up when. We still don't know what's in Phase 6 beyond the Avengers films.

 

My fiance and I enjoyed secret invasion. More than Falcon and the Winter Soldier anyways

 

I enjoyed Secret Invasion too.

 

Secret Invasion was fine until the ending. The harvest was such a cool concept and then they instantly shit all over it lol. Didn't dislike it but wouldn't watch it again, which probably applies to a lot of the MCU for me to be fair

 

outside of shows, I'll finally be caught up on movies today with Guardians 3. Still need to watch Ms. Marvel/Secret Invasion eventually, and will watch Loki as it airs.

 

Loki is so good.

 

The new Loki was pretty good.

 

Hate having to wait two more days for the next episode haha

 

I watched it two days late, so the next one is coming quick for me.
