I mean the whole reason he left Spider-man was because of all the characters Sony shoe horned in, I can't see him wanting to film a huge crossover like that
And idk, he made two good superhero movies, and two bad ones. Idk if that's the greaaaatest track record
I like whichever one has pizza time but fr, the hospital scene in 2 is probably my favorite scene of the series
He left Spider-Man because Sony wouldn’t push the date back for SM4 and he said he wouldn’t be able to make a good film under such a tight deadline
I feel the the only thing that won’t get consensus here is 3 and MoM - the first two are pretty agreed on
I’d watch SM3 over MOM any day of the week. Spider-Man 2 is still the GOAT Raimi film though and a top 5 superhero film imo. Right there with Logan and The Dark Knight.
Spider-Man 2 rules. Spider-Man rules less, but still mostly rules. Strange MoM rules in a pretty different way. Spider-Man 3 unfortunately does not rule, but more rules about it than used to be the consensus. I don’t have high hopes that Secret Wars will be a good story, and I need Raimi to direct some non-cape movies again, and I don’t put that much stock in strikes-era “leaks”… but, a Raimi Secret Wars down the line would make a lot of sense. And, there’s a good chance he’d make sure it to at least some extent rules.
