Well that was fine… shapeshifting aliens might be a better comic thing than a movie/show thing. Same problem as mystique in xmen movies…makes the writing lazy AF.
Really hope the death at the end of episode 1 doesn’t stick. I was wanting to see much more of that character.
Now that Gunn’s Superman & Lois are cast, gotta go back to banging the F4 casting drums for attention, lol. Whatever.
yeah they said a few weeks ago that marvel had concern about the driver/robbie/mescal/diggs cast salaries so they were gonna shake it up. cannot imagine pinching pennies when you're literally disney and your movies have had star problems for over five years now but go off i guess.
Apparently Robbie was offered a better contract than the others so all contracts are being reevaluated. If Disney wants to play it cheap and not get A-listers for Fantastic Four then whatever. That’s their problem. I was just happy to think the F4 rumors were finally over.
I'm indifferent to the casting, I'm totally cool with Marvel giving some lesser known actors their chance in the spotlight. I really cannot picture Robbie in that role.
they need stars though at this point. i agree with the early stages of the mcu but they’re floundering at this point and it’s the only way to resuscitate the corpse
Yea, I agree. Some legit Star power seems like something they need with most of the recent out put being mid. Could use some greatness through bigger actors.
That's fair. The last Marvel movie I really liked was Shang Chi, and even then I wouldn't put it in my top Marvel films.
Still haven't seen GOTG 3 - waiting for it to come to digital because I refuse to go to a theater. I've heard good things though! I'm excited for it. MoM was very mid for me personally
I’m sure you like GOTG3. I think Wands really worked for me and hit me in a way that helped me really enjoy MOM.
Seems weird to call a franchise that's still producing Top 5 grossing movies of the year a corpse that needs resuscitation.
