hey genuine question, do you like these movies/shows?

realizing I may be opening a can of worms here but you seem to be much more negative about mcu stuff than a lot of other people here

 

I do! I liked a lot of the ones apparently people didn't like. The Winter Soldier is fantastic and I actually might be the only person I've ever talked to that enjoyed Eternals.

I also liked Hawkeye, Falcon and Winter Soldier and Ms. Marvel.

But I mean, it's understandable that people might consider their most recent stuff to be mediocre because it mostly is and every single time they release something they say it's game changing or impactful and like none of them have been. I think it's going to be really hard to be as big or as cool as Infinity war/endgame was. That was like a once in a lifetime sort of event.

 

In my dream of dreams I would have loved if they leaned super heavily into the director's visions and have more genre based movies like horror, thriller, etc. I would have loved to see Edgar Wright's stuff.

My hype for the film has gradually went up and it’s now matching Shang-Chi 2 and Daredevil.

I’m glad this seems to have a more serious approach. That is when the MCU is at its best. Iron Man, Winter Soldier, Civil War, Infinity War, etc.
