Hm. Did he ever make any kind of statement about what happened? I see where a lot of news articles reported on the backlash to that video he did with Tessa Thompson, but I don't see anything after that, so I'm gonna guess he just ignored it?

 

As far as I know, he never addressed it, but who knows :P

Maybe. Cavill just announced an hour ago that he will not be playing Superman in Gunn’s DC universe.

 

It just feels wrong to not have him

 

I feel like we are gonna get an MCU version of All-New X-Men where the X-men team themselves are younger from another time/dimension but mutants begin to pop up in MCU proper and they’ll have to deal with them

spent Christmas / day after Christmas finishing phase 3 (my first time watching): thor ragnarok, captain marvel, ant man & the wasp, infinity war, and endgame. they were good.

 

I kind of hope that's not true.

 

With Secret Wars rumored to bringing classic actors back, I don't think Marvel will miss the chance to bring back RDJ, Chris Evans, and others in order to have everyone, new and old, together. It would be THE only opportunity for it happen.

No RDJ in Secret Wars = never seeing RDJ Stark with any characters introduced after phase 3. I'm sure it will be a variant and Stark's sacrifice in Endgame will not be reversed.

 

Of course RDJ will be in Secret Wars. To not have him that film would insanity

 

We should let characters stay dead

 

The Loki show and 2014 Gamera kinda put a nail in that coffin. The characters we "know" will stay dead, but we'll see variants of them.
