There are a few I think he would be good in: Sentry (my #1 pick) Apocalypse (in comic accurate outfit) Or the humanoid form of the Living Tribunal.
The-Rock-as-Apocalypse is an absolutely dreadful fan cast. Please don’t say it loud or often enough for Kevin Feige to go, “…hm.”
Deadline now corroborating with the Cohen Mephisto reports. https://deadline.com/2022/10/sacha-baron-cohen-mcu-ironheart-mephisto-marvel-disney-plus-1235147636/
Headline is misleading, he endorses her return along with other people he worked with, but he didn't say a thing about her being Iron Fist. Not that I'm against her being Iron Fist, I'm just saying #justicefordanny #inlikefinn
I just want consistency when possible and Jones seems genuinely excited by the role, and I'd like him to get the chance to grow. I thought his version of Danny was getting better over time, but I know I'm in the minority on this.
Eh, I'm cool with Jones not reprising the role. Sounded like the Stunt Coordinator implied that he didn't want to train and learn the choreography, which made an already unforgiving Marvel work schedule even more difficult. Iron Fist Stunt Coordinator Alludes to Finn Jones Not Wanting to Train
I'm sure I've read other articles clarify that Jones wasn't allowed to train more, not that he refused.
Jeff Sneider (same guy who gave the Ford scoops before it was confirmed) is saying that Adam Driver has met Marvel for talks concerning both Doom and Reed. Randolph also stated a SW actor was on the listing of actors for Reed. I personally don’t see him as Reed and wouldn’t mind him as Doom but I’d rather a role where he doesn’t hear a mask. He is an expressive actor so covering his face is eh. Kinda surprised Marvel hasn’t been looking at any Romani actors for Doom
I think I’d be satisfied with Driver as Doom, as long as he doesn’t play it all angsty like Kylo Ren.
Not MCU related, but I couldn't think of a better thread to post about this. I finally watched Punisher: War Zone since it comes up every now and then as underrated and how unfairly Lexi Alexander has been treated by the industry since. It's fine. The action is fun and I enjoyed the movie's aesthetic for the most part. It has big 2000s action movie energy, complete with criminals doing parkour, wacky performances, and the Rise Against and Slipknot needle drops lol. I'm currently watching The Wire, so it was funny to see Dominic West as Jigsaw.
