Surprised it didn’t have its own thread? I thought it was really bloody good. I can’t believe we have Man-Thing in the MCU FFS haha. Gael García Bernal was the star of it, though. Laura Donnelly was great too. Hope we see more of all three of them.
Just finished Werwolf by Night. Easily one of the best things to come from Phase 4. Wonder how long it will be until those characters return
Idk I thought it took way too long to start getting good and the werewolf looked cheesey. Wish he had more of a snout. I need more Ted, though.
Finally watched this. I love that we live in a universe where Man-Thing is a part of the MCU, and apparently plays cards, drinks coffee, and eats sushi.
So I watched this with my mom and she asked if the one guy who got killed by the crossbow he was using, if that counts as a suicide, because "he died by his own hand".
I’d like to think that this is in an effort to ease back on the grind on their crews, especially their computer graphics teams but I’d have to be really optimistic to believe that’s why this happened
While I think what Marvel was trying to do with the shows is admirable, and I do appreciate having the room to take detours into areas like Sam's family life, I think it's for the best that not every non-film character gets a full-fledged TV show. Werewolf By Night, for example, was perfect. On the other hand, some of the shows could've actually benefited from 1 or 2 more episodes.
I like that they seem to be shying away from giving everything that isn't a movie, a series. These special presentations are definitely a good thing.
