Hulk has to be in this now, right? No way they have Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine finally appear in the MCU and not fight Hulk. Unless they’re saving that for Secret Wars, of course.
‘Logan’ was great, but this is going to be a different Wolverine set in the MCU and he is going to be partnering with Reynolds’ Deadpool. Let’s just have fun with it. This pretty much guarantees Hugh for Secret Wars
How specific did Tony have to get when he snapped to not snap away Gamora since she came with Thanos?
Common fan theory is that the mind stone knows what the snapper wants to happen. Tony wanted to get rid of “Thanos and his army” so, being that Gamora had changed, the stones didn’t include her as part of Thanos’ army. Tony didn’t need to specifically think of her. That’s the job of the stones. Either the mind or soul stone would judge Gamora and see that she wasn’t siding with Thanos.
Id probably have so much running through my mind I’d snap my fingers and there’d be a cheeseburger in my hands or something
Yeah, but fighting Thanos and taking a punch to the chest might focus your attention to him lol If the fan theory is correct, I’d really like there to be an act from the stones in a future project or comic plot that revolves around them going rogue due to the way they’ve been used and abused. Make it similar to the dragon balls in GT. Couldn’t be the stones in 616 because Thanos “destroyed” them but maybe if there is a hive mind for the stones across the multiverse?
This sucks they literally recast every character at least once except Wolverine, the ageless conceit is going to break down somewhat when Jackman's 75 This probably pushes normal x-men back by another five years
Hugh will probably just be in Deadpool 3, World War Hulk (if it's before Secret Wars), and Secret Wars, which will be his curtain call. Phase 7, when it seems like the focus will change to Mutants, will be when the MCU Wolverine is introduced.
Some spoilery plot details but it sounds great https://filmschoolrejects.com/werewolf-by-night-review/
I feel like there’s a very good chance Hugh Jackman is only in Deadpool 3 (which definitely isn’t in the main universe) and Secret Wars. And, I also feel like there’s a very good chance the theme of “phase 7-9,” the next “saga” or whatever, is mutants. As for Armor Wars… being excited for a movie this early on, especially after they just lost the Blade director, is hard, lol. But, I think it’ll be much better as a movie than weekly streaming content. Getting functionally another Iron Man movie is nice.
(My dream opening slate of proper “MCU” mutant projects is still a Dazzler Disney+ show with original songs, a Wolverine series set in Madripoor with creators of Asian descent, and an “X-Men” movie with Storm in a central role.)
Yeah, Armor Wars being turned into a film is better than it being a show. Marvel probably realized that it's a 2-hour story and that it shouldn't be stretched into a 4-hour show (looking at you Falcon and Winter Soldier).
