The Star Wars fandom has kept me away from being a big fan. I watch the movies and shows once and enjoy them, but that’s about it. Personally, the Star Trek fanbase is super diverse and accepting. Yeah, there’s older people that say newer stuff isn’t “Gene’s vision”, but they’re a vocal minority.
