Plot leaks are saying that after the battle with Kang everyone becomes sealed in the Quantum realm, including Kang
Werewolf by Night plot synopsis from D+ "On a dark and somber night, a secret cabal of monster hunters emerge from the shadows and gather at the foreboding Bloodstone Temple following the death of their leader. In a strange and macabre memorial to the leader's life, the attendees are thrust into a mysterious and deadly competition for a powerful relic—a hunt that will ultimately bring them face to face with a dangerous monster."
Fucking hell Are they waiting for the first official reboot, when they recast Tony Stark and all that bullshit
I'm pretty sure that whatever plotline the current Multiverse Saga has is going to end causing whatever introduces mutants and the X-Men into the MCU, and we're not getting them before then. That's what all the evidence and my gut tells me.
I don’t mind going to phase 7 or later for X-Men. Phase 4 - 6 is for some newer and less popular comic characters as well as Fantastic Four. Phase 7 and on will be Mutants. Comic books benefit from a floating timeline, but in real life people age. If you have all of your characters around at the same time, then you can only keep a universe going for so long. But if you have fresh popular characters coming in every new cycle, you have more longevity.
Talk of “introducing” mutants into the MCU, like as a thing that clearly needs an event in the present to bring them in, always exhausts me. *sigh* I think, if nothing else… They’re really stuck on this lame “phase” and “saga” model, lol. And, have a lot of spinning plates, a lot of which I think was getting momentum before the Fox thing was finalized. So, they’re probably gonna keep their focus on “The Multiverse Saga!” until they get through Secret Wars, AND THEN let mutant stuff be the next marketing gimmick/“saga”/“phase” afterwards. But, yeah, I’ll be happy to see some proper mutant stuff when they finally get there. Still think a Dazzler series with musical numbers, and a Madripoor series with Wolverine stuff (and creatives of Asian descent) would be great ways to get that going!
Yeah, true. It’s best to get everything out of the way that’s already been planned than to try to shoehorn in Feige’s take on the X-Men before Kang and Secret Wars. Handling Fantastic Four during Kang and before Secret Wars makes sense, but X-Men is not needed for Secret Wars. A few D+ projects here and there would be fine (I’m sure we’re getting Deadpool soon) but overall there’s just no need to rush it. It would also be nice to just expand and explore the concept of Mutants within the MCU before they jump directly into X-Men. For now let’s just enjoy Wong and Matt Murdock we’re getting throughout the MCU.
Only so long as literally every single time they introduce a mutant or hint that someone may be a mutant we always get the 90s X-Men theme in the background.
Just because it's going to take a long time to set up Mutants in the MCU I hope that doesn't stop them from introducing non-mutant elements of the X-Men comics into the MCU in the meantime: the Shi'ar Empire, the Mojoverse, Savage Land, Limbo, Trask Industries, Hellfire Club, ect
quite like the look of Secret Invasion honestly. but Ke Huy Quan in Loki is obviously the most exciting thing from today
Before yesterday I'd say huge odds, but now I'm wondering if he won't end up turning heel again and joining the Leader.
I don't trust any leakers anymore. Even a stopped clock is right twice a day, but that's not betting odds.
