Fantastic Four with NOT be an origin story https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/m...-set-marvel-hones-in-on-directors-1235187070/
Curious how they're going to explain F4 not getting involved with anything if it's not going to be an origin story. Very interesting
Sites keep reporting this in this way, but I don't think that's what Feige actually said from the quotes. All he's saying is that people have seen the origin story before, so it will be a challenge to present it in an interesting and fresh way, or at least that's how I interpreted it. I dunno, I could be wrong, but I feel like media is making his quote do more work than it should.
I haven't been super up to date with the MCU speculation lately but has anyone made the prediction that Miles Teller's Reed Richards will eventually be in MCU as The Maker yet?
Rad, wasn't sure if Colter would be available with his other show being pretty popular on Paramount+ (highly recommend Evil, it's a great show)
I fuckin just did a fist pump and yelled "Yes!" as soon as I saw this. Was it an Iron Fist pump? It might have been.
They could do the same idea with Ioan Gruffudd, He might actually make a better Maker just visibility, I just don't think it'd be as impactful as it being Teller.
So I'm nervous now, because I totally thought this was an official announcement and it turns out it's just some guy claiming they're going to announce this, The Punisher, Storm, and World War Hulk at D23.
I hope my tears are flavorful enough for you although, a fun surprise would be Danny dying off camera and Colleen is just the Iron Fist now.
Like, real talk, I think they improved Danny as a character significantly in Luke Cage and Iron Fist Season 2, and if we don't get some kind of resolution to Ward and his adventure to the East, I'm going to go Super Saiyan and Kamehameha the fuck out of something.
