I don’t believe Lucasfilm ever had a policy of not showing deceased actors and turned down a request to use even a deceased actor’s voice.

Both Marvel and Feige have shared that they won’t do any more Lee cameos and Feige is pretty devoted to Marvel, like a big nerd who grew up adoring Lee.

I get not trusting corporations but when Feige himself said it I feel like it’s reaching the exhausting end of cynicism.

So this is interesting. Secret Invasion will take place during the Blip.

 

So basically if any character that was erased by Thanos shows up then we'll know it's a skrull.

 

I just realized that Fury was dusted too so...

Something doesn't make sense here.

 

Yeah they basically just gave away the spoiler that Fury will be a skrull similar to Far From Home

 

Or they’ll reveal the Fury we saw get dusted was a skrull and the real Fury did survive it.

 

I feel like this is it. What if the Fury we know has been a Skrull all along?

 

I personally felt this was more of an error on the MCU’s part. But in Captain Marvel, Fury says he only eats sandwiches but a certain way. In Age of Ultron, he apparently eats one cut the “wrong” way. I could buy that Fury was legit around until the end of the Winter Soldier and with SHIELD done essentially he left to pursue other projects and had Talos (I think that’s his name, I’m too lazy to google) take his place in case “his” presence was needed on earth.

 

It had to at least been the real Fury at Stark's funeral in Endgame.

 

Why though? He just stands there.

 

Because he likely wouldn't have wanted to miss it

 

But if the real Fury was alive during the blip and had left for space before the events of Endgame, how would have have known about it?

 

How would he have known about Thanos invading Earth and Tony sacirificing himself to turn Thanos' entire army into dust? No clue I guess.

 

There's gotta be some sort of intergalactic email system no?

 

Because of his relationship with Tony. I don't think he would have someone pretend to be him at the guy's funeral lol

 

This is something I could see going either way depending on the circumstances.

 

I 100% view Fury as the type of person to visit a man's funeral who he directly invited to join the Avengers and then ultimately gave his life fighting as an Avenger to kill Thanos

 

I also view him as the type of person to where if something world-shattering is happening, he'll put everything else aside to deal with it. I'm just saying, I don't think he would miss it willingly, but he's also not the type to drop his responsibilities either.

Nope. Putting any arguments about Elektra and the Hand aside, all the Punisher stuff in Season 2 is dope as fuck.

 

I’m just glad we are getting a show that takes place during the Blip.

There should be plenty of material within those 5 years.
