95% of the time I think it's annoying complaining about CGI, def feels like people have it out for Marvel on that.

But that trailer was pretty bad.

i think it’s fair to have it out for them on that. They’re the biggest movie franchise on the planet, half their characters are CGI, they should be better.

I think, and correct me if I'm wrong or missing something, but I think the problem is that a lot of those CGI characters look like anything but human. And She-Hulk is very much supposed to look like a large green human, and it can get very uncanny valley. I feel it's probably easier to make something non-human look humanlike than it is to make a human look convincingly human.

If I remember correctly, Hulk had a lot of those problems himself, starting with the first Hulk movie, and then Incredible Hulk, and I'd say it wasn't until Avengers that they really fine-tuned the Hulk's design, but even then I remember a lot of the same discussions happening around Endgame with Smart Hulk. It's a continuing process, I guess.

Putting aside She-Hulk herself for a second, how does everyone feel about the other characters in the trailer? There were very brief glimpses of a few characters.

Personally, I don't like Titania's look at all, although I also didn't like Starfire's look in Titans at first until I watched the show and it grew on me, so kind of hoping the same happens here as well.

I also am not sure about the guys people are speculating are the Wrecking Crew. If it's them, they look very grounded, but also kind of boring? They just look like a bunch of grunts with crowbars.

I am, however, 100% down for Frog-Man, and think he looks perfect.

The hate this is getting online from men is rivaling Captain Marvel. They’re using the “cgi” excuse. Ok then.

edit: this isn’t directed towards anyone here

The neanderthal incel camp is only going to get worse as the MCU rolls on, unfortunately.

The only people I see bashing it beyond the CGI are the “M she U” crowd. Nobody worth anything takes what they say seriously.

Honestly haven't seen anyone bashing anything about this trailer except for the CGI. Not saying there aren’t people doing that, but from what I’ve seen it’s just the CGI getting called out.

At first I didn't get it. Then I looked at the full picture.

Once I realized what I was looking at, my mind was blown.

    Jessica Walters is Pickle Hulk.

Yes, I know regular Hulk is also green and thus is also equally Pickle Hulk, but

Wong puts Chad into MCU. He just orders Blonsky around.

If he could travel through the multiverse at will I'm sure all incursions would be fixed.

    Re: Stan Lee stuff.

There’s an important line in the article which says

“However, this new deal does not necessarily pave the way for the return of Lee cameos in movies, at least not in the way fans traditionally knew them, insiders caution.”

I highly doubt we’re going to see an actual CGI/deep fake/whatever Lee cameo in future films. If anything it will probably be stuff like murals in the background of scenes or something. Maybe documentaries, biographies, or something to do with behind the scenes/history of Marvel Studios. That being said, this deal could also be used to prevent any other studio from using Lee’s likeness.

Feige has also stated before that there will be no more cameos. The show runner for Loki also commented this…

"Only one time. It wasn't a joke. We just thought, 'Oh, we have Stan Lee audio from when he was on our show, could we cameo him in?" Jean shared with ComicBook.com in regards to anything in the short Marvel asked them to avoid. "And they said that their policy is he doesn't cameo now that he's passed away, which is a completely understandable policy. That was their only note and that was, of course, easily done.“

Hide pictures of him in the background of shots or something. Make a constellation in space that looks like his silhouette. There are plenty of ways to hide Stan Lee easter eggs in movies if that's what they want. They don't need to disrespect the guy by recreating him with CGI.

They say this, but Disney very notably did this in Rogue One with Peter Cushing so I do not have faith that they won’t do it again because mega corporations are ghouls
