I would kill for Sam Wilson to become Captain Falcon. He's easily one of the coolest characters in Marvel comics right now.
1. Cap 2. Star-Lord 3. Scarlet Witch 4. Rocket Racoon/Groot 5. tie between Bucky and Falcon ...I think that's mine, unless I'm forgetting someone.
5 years ago I never would have guessed I'd be saying this but: 1. Cap 2. Ant-Man 3. Black Panther 4. Hawkeye 5. Thor Cap has the best movies in the MCU and the other 4 always steal whatever scenes they are in.
In terms of just the characters, to say nothing of the movies around them: 1. Stark 2. Bruce Banner 3. Steve Rodgers 4. Scott Lang 5. Peter Quill That said, Peter Parker and T'Challa could easily get into the top five once their solo films come out and we spend more time with them. They were two of the best parts of Civil War.
1. Star Lord 2. Ant-Man 3. Rocky/Groot 4. Cap 5. Iron Man I can't believe Marvel made me love Ant-Man.
I like her powers and the visualizations of them in the movies. If I'm being honest, there's not a ton of character there yet, but I think there's a lot of potential. Plus, she's the only one member of the team that can scare me. That scene towards the beginning of AoU when she creepily backs out of the room is one of my favorite moments ha.
Thanks for replying. I definitely think there's potential. Hope she is developed more in the next Avengers - it'll be intriguing to see which characters don't receive the attention they deserve due to the sheer amount of characters on screen!
Eh. I think a Black Widow / Hawkeye movie would make more sense instead of either one getting a solo film.
Yeah, why give a second woman her own solo film over a decade into the franchise when you could have her share top billing with another new Marvel leading white guy? It's not like there's more demand for a solo Black Widow movie than any other established character in the MCU and has been for a while. It's not like Black Widow recently headlined an excellent 12-issue series by comic book icons Chris Samnee and Mark Waid. Or, a well-liked 20-issue series prior to that with gorgeous Phil Noto art. It's not like she has a really fascinating backstory to explore. It's not like Scarlett Johansson is a big name ready to carry her own Marvel film. Nah, it's gotta be a "Black Widow and Hawkeye" film (instead of a "Black Widow" film that Hawkeye could show up in if the story they tell lends itself to that). 'Cause there's so much precedent for them as co-headliners.
EVERY SINGLE PLACE I have seen people discussing the MCU on the internet other than this site have made it very loud and clear that a Black Widow / Hawkeye film is much more favorable. Go on comicbook.com, comicbookmovies.com, ign forums, superherohype forums, the list goes on. There is also precedent for them to co-headline a film. If it was a prequel film before Iron Man 2 when the two of them have stated multiple times that they worked together, then yeah, a team up film would make sense 100%. If it's not a prequel film then do you REALLY see marvel giving her a film and not including any other character, especially post-avengers? Even Thor and Captain America had and will have characters joining their films.
I'm torn because on one side I think she works best as a supporting character and I'm not really interested but on the other side Marvel has been batting 1000 in my book so I know if they did one they could pull it off. I love Hawkeye and their relationship in the movies, so I'd be more excited if it were a BW/Hawkeye movie too. It has nothing to do with their sex or color of any ones skin.
It should be a Black Widow movie, featuring Hawkeye. She needs the solo title. Marvel needs to start doing this. More poc & female leads has to happen, and theres plenty of material for it. Marvel has a voice in our culture today, especially among the youth, and it's a stance they need to take in today's political climate. Captain Marvel and Black Panther are a great start, and I'm so stoked for these movies. But they need to continue that trend. Out of almost 20 films, by 2019, 1 Black lead and one female lead isn't enough. When ~85% of the characters in the universe are white males.
I'd like a Scarlet Witch movie. From what little we've seen of her, I think she's an interesting character that deserves more screentime.
For sure, title it that just like Civil War was titled Captain America, even though it wasn't just his film.
An avengers mission gone wrong where her and Vision get separated and have to fight their way back would be awesome From what they showed in Civil War, I could do a whole movie with them just interacting.
Totally want to see more SW and Vision. Such powerful characters, I want to see them flex their psychic powers! Maybe team up with Dr Strange and Cap Marvel. Do the whole Quasar/quantum band story with moondragon and magus.
That would work too. Like Captain America Winter Solder. Have Black Widow have the main spot and Hawkeye can tag along in some parts of the movie.
Holy hell, I don't think we have a villain that could stand a chance with all 4 of them, esp with them saying Cap Marvel will be the strongest out of all the heroes.
Honestly all I know is that Rouge stole her powers from her in X-Men. Other than that, I'm going in blind just like Guardians which is fine, no expectations
