I know you didn't mean it as a dream-team, it was mainly a comment on the fact that even though the only potential Midnight Suns we currently know about are all male, that won't be the whole roster should they actually go through with it. I was just saying that there will probably be additional non-male members outside of the potential members we already know about/that have been announced. Hell, Scarlet Witch could potentially be a villain in a Midnight Suns story also. Maybe she gets involved with Lilith in some way and they need to get her back on the good side. There are lots of possible roads they could take the Midnight Suns concept down.
If they bring back Jon’s Punisher, I’d like to see them do a War Journal series. Like have every episode be it’s own self contained story of Punisher doing his thing.
I know I'm a minority, but while they bring everyone else back, I still want to see more adventures of Danny and Ward, exploring the history of the Iron Fist.
Netflix Iron Fist was by far the weakest of the four, even though the second season was much better than the first. He stands to benefit the most from being rebooted/retooled with a different actor.
Listen. Guys. You're making me try to defend Finn Jones, and I really really don't want to do that. Don't make me do this. We'll all regret it.
I mean, if they kept him but did a full reboot of IF, I wouldn’t be mad. He did get a raw deal with how that show was written and produced so despite my gripes, I’d definitely be down with him getting a second chance to play a better version of IF.
Truthfully, it's not that I'm attached to Finn Jones as an actor so much as that he's how I picture Iron Fist now and it'll be weird to see someone else in the role, especially if they choose to retool the character completely. I feel like Finn's Iron Fist worked better when they let him be more earnest and optimistic, like he was in Luke Cage Season 2. Having him be filled with angst and ultra-serious just did not work well for the character. I understood what they were going for: man-child, pure and simple, but even giving him issues to work through, I felt like they just gave him too much of a chip on his shoulder. They dialed it back a bunch in Season 2, but they still had traces here and again. That's why I was so excited for the ending, cause it looked like they were letting the character be a lot more fun, and I liked that side of Iron Fist.
This is what I always go to when I say Finn could pull off Danny given the right material to work with
I mean, it's not a team, it's the specific name for the duo of Colleen Wing and Misty Knight. I think it's probably fine.
You could just make an entire D+ show based on the comic run of Deadly Hands of Kung Fu, which would feature Iron Fist and the Daughters of the Dragon throughout. Xialing is already getting her own show, so maybe Daughters of the Dragon could appear in that. It did show that most of her fighters in the end-credits scene were women. Perhaps she looks for more recruitment.
No, it's okay. I wasn't sure if it was a bit or not and I didn't want to offend if it wasn't, so I hedged my bets and treated it seriously.
I just want to say that I've seen the Morbius trailer attached to every movie I've seen in the last month, and I'd like for it to stop.
