Glad the Echo and Harkness shows are official, and I'm intrigued by the animated shows. Is the Spider-Man animated show taking place in the MCU? Would be interesting if it did... EDIT: I'm kind of stoked about the '97 X-Men revival, but only if it's more like what I remember and not like the show actually is, because some things from the cartoon have not aged well.
You would assume so, however I believe Disney+ have also added a "Spider-Verse" section... so do with this information as you will.
With X-Men '97 being a Marvel Studios production, is it safe to say this will introduce the mutants into the MCU?
Huge Marvel fan here - totally overwhelmed with the amount of stuff they’re spewing out. We really don’t need spinoffs of spinoffs.
Not sure I'd classify Echo or Harkness as spinoffs of spinoffs. The shows in general aren't intended to be viewed as spinoffs, so if anything Echo and Harkness are just spinoffs.
I don’t think they’d slap the Marvel Studios logo on it if it wasn’t going to be just at least slightly connected (multiverse)
I think she’s a bad character. The show she was introduced in was bad. The whole “Agatha All Along” bit was dumb IMO because it was mainly SW all along.
Logline for Spider-Man: Freshman Year "follows Peter Parker on his way to becoming Spider-Man in the MCU, with a journey unlike we've ever seen and a style that celebrates the character’s early comic book roots. Executive producer Jeff Trammel serves as head writer."
Yeah I mean I’ll watch it and I love Kathryn Hahn so I’m hopeful I just think it’s such an odd character to move forward with. Ah this is such a bummer. I can hear his voice in my head
