Judging definitively from a leaked image is a bad idea, but the allegedly real image is not promising.
I mean, it’s a random picture from a random scene and not an actual trailer. There’s too much nuance and context missing. If I saw some of the daredevil stuff before the season started in a random picture I would probably think it looked like shit lol
If you’re talking the main Daredevil suit from the Netflix series, I was never into that look, so not the best reference for me, lol. If the one people online are saying might be legit is, indeed, from the show, it still might not be his legit, main look. Lots of options with the Egypt stuff & the mental stuff. But, if his actual look ends up with that general aesthetic… for me personally, again, just not particularly promising.
There's now leaked concept art of the suit and it matches almost perfectly. I love the mummy aesthetic for sure.
It was never stated that he’d be introduced in Moon Knight. That was just speculation. He still could, however, because this will be a 2022 Halloween special as the production for Werewolf by Night doesn’t start until February.
looks like i made an FB status 12 years ago today where i found out disney bought marvel. couple people flipped out in the comments lolololol
Wall Street Journal said in an article about the Scarlett Johansson/Disney stand-off that the issue caused talks between Marvel Studios and The Russo Brothers to stall, about the Russos to return to the MCU. What do we think they were looking to do? The Anthony Mackie Captain America movie? The first go around for the new Avengers? Secret Wars? Something else? (Here’s the article, paywalled: How Disney and Scarlett Johansson Reached the Point of No Return)
Secret Wars. The brothers stated a few years ago that they would return if they could do Secret Wars.
Yeah it seemed pretty clear Marvel was setting up Secret Wars as the next big event and this would seem to confirm that
Naturally I'm not an expert on this stuff, but I really don't understand the resistance to movies coming out on streaming services at the same time as they're released in theaters. For me as a viewer with a child who isn't able to get vaccinated, it's such an ideal thing to be able to still watch new movies without having to sit in an enclosed space with strangers who may or may not be wearing masks and/or vaccinated. Curious to see how well Shang-Chi does but I would think that it the non-streaming release would lead people to either a. not go see it and just wait for it to be released later on or b. pirate the movie - in either case hurting the box office numbers.
