Please. Give me all of them. I’ll even take Iron Fist at this point. But mainly give me the daredevil cast
I know I'm in the minority on this, but I still really want payoff on the cliffhangers of Iron Fist Season 2.
I personally thought that Iron Fist became more affable starting from Luke Cage Season 2 onward, especially after they dunked on him throughout Defenders, but I also understand why people don't like the show. It was a show where I could see what they were going for with his characterization as a manchild, but it just made him insufferable. The supporting cast was largely more interesting to me. Even still, that cliffhanger from Season 2 could have led to some really cool things.
The idea of Ritter as Jessica Jones with Tatiana Maslany as Jennifer Walters is so appealing and I’d they manage to pull Trish into it I might explode
Season 2 of Iron Fist was quite good. Ward was real good in both seasons. Actually Iron Fist was my favorite season 2 of the Netflix shows now that I think about it
We just finished Punisher and there are some weird turns in that one. Felt like they were trying to stretch to a 13 episode requirement. I honestly can’t remember if I watched iron fist season 2. I didn’t hate the first season as much as I was expecting hearing the comments
I really enjoyed season 2. Especially the post credit sting. Have read the comics they were referencing and was super excited about where it was going. And then it was cancelled. Boo.
If they soft reboot Daredevil into his own new series or movie with the Netflix cast, what I’d want more than anything is an adaptation of my favorite era: the Ann Nocenti & John Romita Jr run. You already got Matt, Kingpin, etc., along with Typhoid Mary (who, for all I know, might’ve sucked in Iron Fist, but hey, “soft reboot”). And, if you do it as a series, you could have an episode in the spirit of that issue where Matt’s incapacitated and Johnny Storm goes to Hell’s Kitchen. Only downside is that much of Nocenti’s run was political in cool ways that Disney would never pull off, lol, but that’s what my comics are for! Other Netflix thoughts: Bring back Elektra without acknowledging that Defenders mess and actually do her right. Put the Daughters of the Dragon in Shang-Chi (maybe along with Danny Rand if you’re willing to do some meta critique of the show along the way). Whether the same actress or not, I want Hellcat in her fun comics costume. No strong opinions on the rest. Not even Jessica Jones in spite of thinking that show’s first season was the peak of Marvel Netflix; it peaked enough that, while seeing her again would make me smile, there’s nothing else I need told with that character per se. In all of Marvel Television, the other actors I’d most wanna see again are Cloak & Dagger (in Spider-Man, if he stays MCU), and Polaris (not retaining Gifted’s continuity, obviously, but you could use Emma Dumont in whatever new X-Men we get).
(Granted, I typed all that as someone who probably won’t watch any Marvel Studios stuff between WandaVision & Eternals, lol. So, I’m maybe not their target demographic anymore. But, as far as the comics stuff that’d be most likely to make me go, “oh, cool!” that’s definitely high on my list.)
I try to forget about Hellcat lol, the episode where she's figuring out her powers is one of the worst episodes of tv I've ever watched. I'm sure the comics version is better haha
I still want Nico from Runaways to appear with Doctor Strange. There's a part in the series where she gets the same dark black eyes that Mads Mikkelsen had in DS The show had its flaws, but I still think it was cast pretty perfectly
Runaways felt like they just found their footing just in time to get cancelled. Felt like they were setting up a really interesting fourth season
I've found things to enjoy about every MCU show I've watched, except for the two that I've actively avoided: Inhumans and Helstrom. I don't plan on changing that either.
I wonder if they’re gonna introduce Inhumans in general with Ms. Marvel, considering that’s a big part of her character.
It's a shame because I actually think Inhumans could be an interesting property to adapt if done right and Anson Mount and Iwan Rheon were good casting choices. They and Henry Ian Cusick were absolutely wasted.
