Werewolf By Night IS Coming To The Marvel Cinematic Universe According To Kevin Smith "I reached out to Walter Flanagan from Comic Book Men and told him I'm gonna take a stab at all the f***ing 70s characters," he explained. "Walt was giving suggestions and Werewolf By Night was absolutely on the list. In my head, as I started building my season, I was like, 'Alright. Episode 5. Werewolf by Night.' The idea of our story was that Howard was trapped here and he was trying to get pages of the Darkhold, which would allow him to go back." "There's Howard as I'm laying it out and then I go into Jeph and told him what I wanted to do, and that's when they said 'You can't use Werewolf by Night,' and I asked why. They said the movie division was using him."
I'm thinking about how the Moon Knight show is about a Batman analogue with DID who works for an Egyptian moon god and fights a fucking werewolf. How did we get here from Tony Stark in the desert with a box of scraps?
I’ll see how Marvel handles Moon Knight before I get excited about Werewolf by Night. There are very few PG-13 werewolf portrayals that are not terrible.
To be clear, I love Moon Knight. I'm not criticizing the decision; more trying to point out the sheer lunacy (ho ho!) of where we've reached in the MCU vs. where this began. Short version: I was trying to be funny. I amused myself at least.
I gotchu lol, was just taking the opportunity to plug Moonie cos I fucking love him the serious answer is probably that they're keeping the really weird shit like Moon Knight and Loki to Disney+ and the movies more family-friendly, for the most part anyway

It’s been long rumored that the Netflix actors would be integrated into the MCU so it’s cool to see that. Hell, there’s been a good number of rumors about Charlie Cox appearing in the next Spider-Man and She-Hulk lately speaking of.
Charlie Cox had to cancel convention plans and head to NY during the time that Spider-Man reshoots were taking place. It’s pretty safe to say he is in. Ritter’s Jessica Jones is heavily rumored for She-Hulk. All we need now is Bernthal’s Punisher and Colter’s Luke Cage.
