Well it’s the money but the MCU also has a good reputation throughout hollywood that the bigger names probably feel more comfortable being in a marvel film.
So far they've had... Peter Dinklage Richard Madden Kit Harrington Emilia Clarke I think that's it so far, right? I don't think you can count Sophie Turner and Maisie Williams since they did non-MCU marvel stuff, right? Who's gonna be next? Surely we can get Sean Bean to play some villian that's gonna die.
I think Thor 2 had a few smaller actors from GoT in it as it was directed be someone who had directed a couple of episodes. Can’t think for the life of me who, though
23 'Game of Thrones' actors who have played Marvel characters A lot of general Marvel over the years as well as MCU, but it’s way more than I thought.
Oh wow, forgot about Dormer in Captain America I also completely forgot about all the other shows before this new batch too, I never watched those
Just finished looking through it and wow, Thor and Thor 2 had a lot of small bit players from GOT lol Also definitely knew Walder Frey and Dagmer Clefjaw, and just completely forgot.
I liked the visual aesthetic that Taylor brought to Asgard way more than what Branagh had done, personally. But I'm one of the few people out there that thinks The Dark World is better than Thor 1, and also that it isn't the worst MCU movie (it's better than Thor 1 and The Incredible Hulk, at least).
'Captain America 4' in the Works With 'Falcon and the Winter Soldier' Showrunner Malcolm Spellman (Exclusive)
wild to me with all the movement to disney+ and the shows that have gotten announced that they aren’t doing a sentry miniseries yet
It’s because most of the villains are not mentally stable so as soon as something doesn’t go their way they jump to murdering
Stane, Whiplash, Killian, Loki, Abomination, Pierce, Ronan, Malekith, Ultron, Yellowjacket, Kaecelius, Ego, Thanos, Mysterio, the Kree, nor Ghost made reasonable political demands. Hyperbole is only good when it fits a majority, not when it fits 3 - 4 out of 20. I’d love for MCU villains to actually be reasonable but most are not.
people made memes and shit about how “thanos was right” and shit in infinity war and then in endgame it was “i’m going to enjoy this now” etc. he absolutely did that. also, you’re focusing on the wrong part lol. the others that didn’t have political ideology to fall on went straight to the murdering out of the gate it helps the case that it is also quite literally every prominent/compelling mcu villain so far
There’s a difference in Thanos’ observations on overpopulation being correct and his quest to kill half of all life being “reasonable” compared to just making more resources with the gauntlet. He had the power to do anything but instead he goes for genocide. It fits with his survivor’s guilt so I don’t hate it. I agree that the compelling villains (other than Loki) fit the tweet’s hyperbole but it’s a small number of MCU villains. Kilmonger, Zemo, Vulture, and Karli.
That costume was always going to translate really well to live action. It looks great. Can't wait for that show.
WOAH. A brief glimpse of a few things in here, including Eternals, Captain Marvel 2 is now called The Marvels and BP2 is now Black Panther: Wakanda Forever
