Tradition vs. progress is a classic storytelling device. It would play a part in a story about M'Baku or Shuri becoming the Black Panther as well.
I wonder most on how that will transition. What could possibly make/force T’challa to give up the role of BP.
Honestly not surprised there’s no movie trailers since the release dates are probably still up in the air with COVID. At least with the Disney+ stuff they know those dates won’t change.
I think that'd be a rich story to tell though. Having to sort between sticking with tradition for a country she's extremely loyal to or forging a new path and stepping into a new role that would benefit her country just as much. There's a lot of good stuff to chew on there
Crazy Days and Nights (operated by an anonymous Hollywood lawyer) is stating that Rege Jean-Page is being eyed to play a completely new Black Panther (speculation is Kasper Cole).

Between Lord & Miller on Spider-Verse, Tom Hardy in Venom, & Olivia Wilde on [Spider-Woman???], Sony's been mostly nailing the creatives for their Marvel projects. (Too bad their one very, very bad choice recently was... Jared Leto.) Really hoping Kraven lands in that home run territory, too. Keanu Reeves isn't what I picture when I picture Kraven, but I wouldn't call him a miscast either, & he's just generally awesome. So, I'd be happy if that actually materialized.
I love Keanu to death but he's definitely not who I would cast as Kraven. Honestly Keanu would've been a great choice for Morbius instead of the child predator they went with.
Keanu said he’s had talks but he’s waiting for the right role. He’s open to it but he probably wants a character that fits him and not done cgi heavy character
