I have a hard time picturing Jim Halpert being one of the world's smartest scientists

 

It's just cause he kinda looks like him (especially now that they're seemingly drawing to look like that one fancast picture). Nothing he's ever done has made me think he'd be a great fit for Reed

Also saw a fan cast of Timothy Olyphant that I definitely disagree with but now I'm fantasizing of a world where he is in the MCU and it really makes me smile.

 

why on earth would you wish the MCU on interesting performers like gosling and olyphant

 

Gosling is a pretty good actor with taste I generally respect and it’d be a bummer if he jumped into the MCU.

i’ve seen all these movies and enjoy about a half to a third of them so, no, lol

 

cool, same. but like, the Star Wars universe is way worse than the MCU is these days, and I was still excited when Timothy Olyphant showed up in Star Wars. because he's a good actor and I like when good actors are in things I watch, it generally makes those things seem a bit more good. pretty simple calculus really

 

He is doing the Wolfman. I don’t think anyone at Universal these days will make that with more integrity than an MCU film.

Always a bummer to see someone get surprised by recasting. Kathryn Newton is a good get and I can see why they did that. Still kinda sad.

ngl, I like a lot of the ideas for integrating the F4 into the MCU here, including giving Doom his own origin movie

 

I'd love to see a proper Doom story for the narcissistic character he was in the comics, the guy that wore a giant mask because he had a scratch on his face. That would be fun as hell.
