I’m really tired of these “phases” being like seasons of television, but, yeah, probably.

WandaVision might not be quite “multiverse” per se, but it’s got weird reality stuff going on. I believe current reporting is that Loki travels through time & has alternate versions of Loki. Got whatever is or isn’t happening here. Strange 2 is straight up called “In the Multiverse of Madness.” And, between Kang, the Quantum Realm, & other more subtle reasons, Ant-Man 3 seems in that territory, too. (And, while Hawkeye itself almost certainly won’t, most of these projects I just listed also, comics-wise, are tied to the Young Avengers, so not a stretch to draw a loose connection there, too. And, depending on how soon Fantastic Four is coming, there’s always a chance they tie that into these threads, too.)

Which, has me thinking I was right to root for Sony splitting off from Marvel. Oh well.

John Mulaney’s Spider-Ham showing up, Roger Rabbit style.

No one else from that movie. They’re too pure & good for this mess. Just, Spider-Ham. In that exact same animation style. Voiced by John Mulaney.

I definitely see that’s how the X-Men show up. Like something gets fucked up, New Avengers fix it, and the mutants stay in the main universe. Maybe not though

Spider-Ham would be too campy. Keep that to animation. Just leave it at the 3 Peters.

 

A move like animated Spider-Ham would be the coolest thing the MCU has ever done.

 

Just bring Tony Stark back through this. That’s what half of Reddit already wants because they can’t imagine an MCU without him.

 

it would be way cooler and funnier if they had Kirsten, Molina, Garfield, Tobey, and Emma playing unrelated characters

 

Gimme a universe where they play their characters, except the heroes are evil and Molina or Foxx are the good guys

That's 100% how they'll do the fan service, but RDJ seems done with being in these full time.

These most likely will be cameos rather than fully fleshed out roles

 

I hope they’re just cameos for this film and then can lead into Spider-Man 4 or a spiderverse film

Charles usually has pretty decent scoops, so hopefully this turns out to be true
