MCU has gotten better names than Rogen. Just saying

Most actors, including actors that have been in the MCU, are too good for the MCU

 

I’d say some big names were too good for the mcu role they were given, but some big names and the mcu were/are a perfect match.

Seth Rogen is alright when he is given a dramatic role but his humor is equivalent to a 9th grade class clown that still tries to do the same stunts in 12th grade. You can only chuckle to not be outwardly rude.

Also, Benedict Cumberbatch, Josh Brolin, and Ben Mendelsohn are MCU actors that are way above Rogen.

I think Chadwick Boseman and Daniel Kaluuya might be the best technical actors I’ve seen in the MCU. But the MCU is built more on screen presence than technical acting, RDJ, all the Chrises, etc. Rogen has fabulous energy in basically everything he does

 

Big names that I think were too good for their roles: Jude Law, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Hugo Weaving, Idris Elba, Mark Ruffalo, Natalie Portman (so far)

Big names that I think were a perfect match: Michael Keaton, Jack Gyllenhaal, Robert Redford, Josh Brolin, Jeff Bridges, Michael B Jordan

Those are a handful of each off the top of my head

 

idk. i get what you're saying that they fit the roles. i would still say every actor you mentioned has done much better work elsewhere and is "too good" for this series
