This was cool. Stylistically this reminded me a lot of Seeing Red.

 

Wait, really? How did I miss that? I even watched through the foreign credits.

 

I can't wait for her to inevitably be in the Young Avengers

This was a lot of fun. I can’t wait to see her interact with Carol and want all of her thoughts on every Avenger as she meets them.

 

Really enjoyed this, excited for more!

 

Marvel better hurry up. Unlike the comics, these actors won’t stay/look young forever.

Not sure if Marvel will try to get a trilogy out of YA.

 

First ep was a lot of fun.

 

Yeah this is turning out great. Kamala Khan is the only comic book character for whom I got in on the ground floor and have read every issue as it was released etc., so I've been really looking forward to the show, and the first episode was wonderful. Hit all the right character beats and cool moments. I'm very interested to see how the powers manifest/what direction they take with her abilities.

 

Yep I already think I'm going to love this

 

Echoing everyone else that this was a lot of fun. Looking forward to the rest.

 

Episode 1 supplied the two things I wanted:

Kamala being a dork

A look at how ordinary people react to the Avengers, Guardians, etc.


I also love how the details of the Battle of Earth are known due to Scott Lang’s podcast. Marvel needs to get Paul Rudd to make this real.

 

Thought exactly the same thing when it was mentioned haha

 

I'm definitely not the target demo for this, but they absolutely nailed Kamala. Iman does a great job based on the pilot

 

I really enjoyed this first episode. It has this energy and direction that I find very refreshing after all the overly serious shows, Iman is wonderful and nails Kamala imo. I’m looking forward to the rest, this is really cool.

 

this was really really good. the direction, especially the text conversation showing up in the windows was absolutely inspired. such a great comforting energy to the whole thing

 

That scene with the bubbly score really stood out, really like the poppy tone and color hues of the show.

 

This show is the first Disney+ show that I feel like the tone fits the visuals/budget. If that makes sense.

 

This feels fine. It gives me Mitchells vs the Machines vibes with 1/5th the fun.

 

It feels like a higher budget, better made Disney Channel show, which is about what I was expecting

 

Solid second episode. I honestly am fine with how her powers work after seeing them here.

 

Ya this continues to be a delight.

 

This is so much fun. It’s going from strength to strength and doing a great job of showing a kid having these powers thrust upon them and having no idea what to do!
