How this "dark complex take on a superman-esque character" trope has been in vogue in pop culture going on like 3 years now and Marvel hasn't done Sentry yet is crazy to me. we'll get the Adam McKay Irredeemable adaption that's been in developmental limbo forever before MCU does Sentry.
Wikipedia states Gaspard Ulliel is playing Midnight Man citing a SlashFilm article, but I've never heard this anywhere else before. Some people are speculating that Hawke's Harrow may be borrowing elements from the Sun King.
Dracula tease in the post-credits scene of s1 setting up s2... I hope anyway excellent timing with the trailer, I just got The Endless/Resolution blu-ray in the mail and watched them tonight. fucking fantastic films all the way
Dracula will probably be saved for Midnight Suns which is bound to be what Marvel is setting up with Moon Knight, Black Knight, Blade, and reported rumors of Ghost Rider and Punisher joining the MCU.
A Midnight Suns team-up show/movie would be really cool. I’m very much looking forward to the game, love the XCOM team.
I don’t think he said Punisher in the MCU has to be R. He just wants the character to be done right. I’m sure Marvel Studios can think of a way to keep the Punisher true to the Netflix version while being in the MCU. As long as you don’t show as much gore, Punisher’s aggression and mindset can easily be carried over. Just pan away when he gets messy.
I’m sure Marvel would want to familiarize the team with fans in preparation for a film announcement in the near future
Speaking of Midnight Suns, I am about to unlock Moon Knight, Punisher, Blade, and Ghost Rider in Ultimate Alliance 3. Pretty fantastic game thus far.
It's being reported he's passed away after a skiing accident. So not sure what that means for this rumour.
I hope that didn't come across as callous, but this thread was where I first remembered hearing the name, hence felt the need to post it. Looks like the news is confirmed, the reason I wasn't sure is it was first reported he was in a "serious condition" about an hour ago and then updated about 40 minutes later. 37 is no age to die and a horrible way to pass away as well. RIP.
Oscar Issac and Ethan Hawke React to the 'Moon Knight' Trailer this is just insanely cute and wholesome
Marvel’s Moon Knight Is ‘Brutal’, Says Kevin Feige: ‘We’re Not Pulling Back’ – Exclusive Image “He’s brutal,” Feige tells Empire, citing the streaming service as a space to expand what an MCU story can be. “It’s been fun to work with Disney+ and see the boundaries shifting on what we’re able to do. There are moments [in the series] when Moon Knight is wailing on another character, and it is loud and brutal, and the knee-jerk reaction is, ‘We’re gonna pull back on this, right?’ No. We’re not pulling back. There’s a tonal shift. This is a different thing. This is Moon Knight.”
Most people expect Moon Knight to be the show where Marvel proves if they can or cannot get out of their comfortable zone in terms of violence. I'm sure Feige sees it the same way.
Especially if they plan to continue bringing the Netflix characters back into the fold. Street level should feel tonally different from the more global and cosmic threats.
