Finally watched this. I though it was very good but I did not have strong emotions other than the last two big Adam Driver scenes. This might be because I’ve never been married nor have my parents divorced, but it also might have a lot to do with how I feel about Scarlett Johansson.

 

This is the first movie I really liked with Johansson, normally not a fan of her movies

 

agreed. first since lost in translation, at least

 

Finally watched this last night. Great performances by literally everyone in it.

 

Scarlett is good in Jojo Rabbit, but this is the first thing she’s been really great in since Translation, I’d agree.

Apparently Baumbach has been talking about this getting a Physical release through Criterion, so that rules

 

Hail Caesar! Small role but she’s fun. Plus Her. She’s a moron but truly is a great actress. Her taste in projects isn’t always great and Marvel took up way too much of it.

 

But yeah Under the Skin is probably her best

 

honestly forgot she’s the voice in her. i’m due for a rewatch.

 

Hell yeah, I hope a lot of Netflix's stuff goes that direction.

 

Also, the worst thing ScarJo ever did is Colin Jost

 

there are a lot of front runners for "worst thing ScarJo has ever done"
but Jost is definitely up there

That’s a good one, I saw that a while back and didn’t who she was at the time so that’s news to me haha. Also didn’t know she was the computer in Her what!

 

Side note: Ghost World is the best.

 

No one mentioned Lucy. That movie ruled.
