I wanna see Brendon Urie do the halftime show. He needs a slightly higher age demo though, I think.

The halftime show should be Kaepernick taking a knee during an extended version of the star spangled banner. And have a bunch of toadstools on stage running around, fuck it.

  7. Hmmm I've never seen them live so I don't know if they have enough showmanship to pull this off. I know they have the hits everyone 50 and younger know. But as far as a show worth actually watching I am not too sure. Someone please correct me. Do they put on a good live show? Visually speaking?

This actually is a great idea. He's an insane showman. I think if he can have a couple MASSIVE hits on the next album, he might be there.

Panic is big but they don't have any real Lite-FM staples which you, basically, need to play at the Super Bowl show these days. The classic rock acts are dying out so I'm assuming people like Drake will probably next in line for this.

I really thought FOB was going to play it the year of their comeback. They were sponsored by Pepsi and I really thought they had a solid chance.

This. Legit think one day ( he should be) one of our generations best, like a guy everyone likes songs by.

He would put on a fantastic show but would definitely need some bigger names performing with him at this point. Agreed on the age. I think doing working with more artists would work in his favor too.

Good thing he’s only 30. He’s got PLENTY of time.

For sure, and he’s getting better as a musician and songwriter. I may be way off on this, but I think as he gets older his music style and legacy will resemble that of someone like Billy Joel.

Idk I feel like they can be perceived by the general public as v dated? Like despite their big success since their comeback, their pop culture peak was so memorable of an entire era that I hear soooo many people come in with the tired "is it 2006?" jokes?? Because even tho they're relevant like musically they're not as relevant pop culturally? I feel like if they played it'd just be an endless stream of bad emo jokes lol but I think they'd do great and I think they have some rly good anthemic songs to pull it off.
