This is so good seeing his reactions. Ive watched this a thousand times on Youtube. EDIT: Well that was an awkward ending people spamming him to call Tom. Way to go people.
This was just absolutely delightful and fun. Mark seems like such a genuinely nice guy. Love that he took the time to do this
That dam dollar bill tour man. I waited in line for six hours to be ten people short of getting tickets. I cried like a baby haha.
Here is the entire stream. Watched it all live, it was a lot of fun. I'd also suggest following him on Twitch just to watch him play games. He's hilarious. @Jason Tate Looks like there might be an issue with embedding Twitch videos? Meanwhile, the link is here. While watching this documentary, the mention of Blinkumentary came up of cousre. He actually mentioned specifically yesterday for people to stop asking him about that. Seems like a sore subject for them.
Not surprising to hear that people were harassing Mark about it, but boggles the mind that they would actually expect it to ever see the light of day, given everything the band has gone through in the past 8 years...
I mean, I get fans wanting to see it, but that was a long time ago. Either get over it, or respect Mark's wishes on it not being a topic of discussion. His Twitch streams are so fun, but the two things you can always count on are people asking about that documentary and asking him to "call Tom" because he frequently calls other people and puts them on speaker.
Man, this brings back memories; I watched that on MTV live! And recorded it on VHS! I think went over to a female friend's house, a girl I had a huge crush on, and us two and a bunch of friends watched it together. Good times
You mean the reason why it would be good? I wish mark would be honest about the bullshit they’ve gone through as a band. Would be way more endearing than just pretending Matt is Tom
I wouldn’t expect you to divulge all of your personal drama solely for the entertainment of others. I’m not sure why he should be obligated to. How is he dishonest?
And now bring back TOM Mr. Hoppus :) We miss blink-182! not the cover band you play in right now with a dude called Matt Skiba.
Blinkumentary was more than likely cancelled because it painted a negative picture of the band. If you're gonna make a doc, you cant just cancel it for reflecting reality.
Projects, in all fields, get cancelled all of the time for innumerable reasons. All you’re doing is speculating on one possibility. Maybe the juice just wasn’t worth the squeeze for the people actually involved in the production. That said, even if you were hypothetically correct with your assumption, I’m not sure that you’re in a position to dictate what they can or can’t do. “... you can’t just cancel it for reflecting reality.” Welp, thing is - depending on their contractual obligations and/or willingness to fight them, yes. Yes, they could.
