New album sounds like it's done or almost done, so probably lead single.

 

Interesting choice for lead single, hard to tell what style they’re going for this time around. Might not be a concept album this time.

 

I mean, it's a good song for what it is, but I kinda feel that it's a little too similar to everything else happening in the pop realm right now? Still anticipating another fantastic album though, these guys dont write a bad song.

 

Sorry to bump this thread with no news, but man the last two singles have been great... I’m hoping we get an album soon.

Also... is “August Burns Red” off of Astoria a reference to the fact that the band August Burns Red has a song called “Mariana’s Trench”? If so, that’s pretty funny.

 

It is def a reference haha. Josh answers a ton of fan questions on Twitter, a lot of great insight. Said he wants to be done recording and start mixing on Jan. 3rd.
