That info is in the album threads. First post. Album - Richard Edwards - Lemon Cotton Candy Sunset (March 31st, 2017)
Niiice. Hmm. I would move on to either Bizzard or A Slingshot To Heaven. They are all great though. Also, he just released a solo record a month or so back and it's my album of the year so far.
I think this is definitely a band to hit the discography in order. Animal/Not Animal next followed by Buzzard. Wasn't too big on Rot Gut Domestic, but a huge step back into the right direction with A Slingshot to Heaven.
I agree that Rot Gut Domestic just is not on par with the rest of his discography. I hardly ever listen to it.
awww I really like Rot Gut, Domestic. "Shannon," "A Journalist Falls in Love..." "Frank Left," "Fisher of Men," "Coonskin Cap," and "The Devil" are all great.
You going to run through their discography? Can’t wait to hear your thoughts. Also, don’t forget the lead singer, Richard Edwards, has a solo project now. His debut, Lemon Cotton Candy Sunset, was my album of the year.
Yeah! My girlfriend showed me a few songs this past week and I was super into it, so I’m planning on running through Margot and his solo album.
Listening to my Animal/not animal represses that sound wonderful wondering how the hell people didn't go nuts over this project a decade ago
IIRC people were mad that it was a departure from DOR. That coupled with the amount of music & I don't think a lot of people gave it a fair shot
