Shit. Want to preorder but not a VIP member. What's included in the deluxe package?

Niiice. Hmm. I would move on to either Bizzard or A Slingshot To Heaven. They are all great though.

Also, he just released a solo record a month or so back and it's my album of the year so far.

I was born in a swamp, born with no clothes on

I think this is definitely a band to hit the discography in order. Animal/Not Animal next followed by Buzzard. Wasn't too big on Rot Gut Domestic, but a huge step back into the right direction with A Slingshot to Heaven.

But everything on Richard's solo album is the best "sad" stuff he's written, I'd say.

I agree that Rot Gut Domestic just is not on par with the rest of his discography. I hardly ever listen to it.

awww I really like Rot Gut, Domestic. "Shannon," "A Journalist Falls in Love..." "Frank Left," "Fisher of Men," "Coonskin Cap," and "The Devil" are all great.

You going to run through their discography? Can’t wait to hear your thoughts. Also, don’t forget the lead singer, Richard Edwards, has a solo project now. His debut, Lemon Cotton Candy Sunset, was my album of the year.

Yeah! My girlfriend showed me a few songs this past week and I was super into it, so I’m planning on running through Margot and his solo album.

  21. Listening to my Animal/not animal represses that sound wonderful wondering how the hell people didn't go nuts over this project a decade ago

IIRC people were mad that it was a departure from DOR. That coupled with the amount of music & I don't think a lot of people gave it a fair shot

Are you going through The Bride on the Boxcar discs? Lots of good stuff on those!

Yeah that’s a great song. “Payphone” is another favorite off that b-sides set.
