I didn’t think it was too disastrous- nothing great but nothing horribly offensive.

Vulnerability is brave. Really looking forward to spending time with this record.

 

Brandi Carlile introduced him saying that his solo record was some of the most brave songwriting she’s heard. Definitely makes sense expectations wise after reading that. Wow

 

Hitting play on this now. With what he's shared about everything, I'm expecting a very emotional and resonate piece.

 

The closing track. Wow.

 

A lot more subtle and intimate than his main gig, but it's refreshing to hear this side of Marcus. It's been a while since I've enjoyed one of his projects.

 

Still trying to give it a good listen and form a better opinion.

I'm not a big MS fan to begin with but I'd heard good things about this record.

 

The back side of this is pretty good. Don’t see myself coming back to it much, I didn’t find a lot of melodies I liked.

 

Better Off High is absolutely incredible!
