Situations like that are a misuse of replay. Like c’mon, he hit the ball out of Moretti’s hand. It technically grazing off of his pinky when zoomed in in super slow motion is immaterial

Yeah it feels like baseball using replay to catch a baserunner coming off the base by a millimeter. Idk feels lame to me

Exactly. It's an exercise in "precision" over common sense and dilutes the point of the out of bounds rule to "which slow motion shot shows which player not altering the trajectory of the ball whatsoever"
How is it a misuse of replay? Am I misunderstanding what you guys are saying? Do you guys feel that should have been Tech ball or just that replay wasn’t necessary there? If you wanted it to be Tech ball that clearly wasn’t right....thanks to replay.
