yeah idk. I don't really watch team sports to watch "the individual". I can't name a single player on 75% of the teams in the tournament so i guess the whole tournament is boring

  3. Tom Izzo winning and vindicating that nothing good happens would be the most 2019 thing that could happen so it probably will be to be honest.

Turnovers and free throws. Idk why they didn’t stop trying to throw the ball over the top to Zion after the first turnover

I just wish UCF would have been the team to beat Duke.

  7. fuck underdogs I want to watch the best teams

also fuck Tom Izzo and Michigan State forever

  8. How are any of the teams ‘underdogs’ they’re 1, 2, 3 and a 5 seed. Auburn was good all year. They played Duke hard early on.

best teams need to win games if they're the best. Duke should've lost 2 rounds ago. And best team, Virginia was the #1 team for 95% of the year. Michigan State was a perpetual top 10 team all year. Texas tech is the NUMBER ONE defense in the country.

Auburn is the oddball that's for sure but hey...they beat three of the best programs of all time. They earned this shit.

    2001-2022 Prestigious

RJ hogging the ball on the last 3 possessions and trying to play hero is pretty much exactly how I expected to go out

  11. *checks Virginia’s losses*

Hmmm. It’s almost like a one and done tourney isn’t really a way to determine “the best” for a season. But you know that. That’s why it’s madness. And we love it

Go Auburn, Texas Tech, or Virginia. The one game duke shouldve won and they fuck it up. Smh

  13. Going to be mad for a while about the lack of a real offense or building any sort of bench. And way too many Javin minutes, but seeing Zion for a season was worth it anyway. And at least I’m not mad about a call like last year that felt like bs. Good season. Random shit happens in one game. That’s why it’s the tourney.

Hope Zion goes to a team I can cheer for. And doesn’t get stuck somewhere like the Suns.

  14. watch be a Pelican because the Lakers win the lottery lol

Seeding doesn't matter to me, if both teams haven't been to a final four they are a underdog imo. Did people really pick Texas Tech or Auburn to get to the final four ? Probably not. I'm sure Texas Tech and Auburn won't be picked to win over the weekend either.

  20. Lost me after the first four words. Three of them won their power conferences, the other their tourney. This ain’t some 12 seed out of no where.

i think there's a happy middle to this little discussion. No they aren't underdogs in the sense like a Loyola-Chicago or Butler or George mason..but in terms of programs and expectations, Texas Tech/Auburn are definitely underdogs. Like when UCONN ran the table, broken22 is right, seeding doesnt matter. Sure they had a low seed but that didn't surprise anyone.

just like when any other blue blood program makes a run regardless of the seed.

but no, these aren't the small cinderella school underdog story...but hey if Texas Tech wins against Michigan State? Damn. Good for them. Or if Virginia wins it all? Wow what a job Bennett did.

  22. UConn didn’t surprise anyone?

Compared to if a team like Auburn or Texas Tech wins? No. UCONN was 3 years removed from a national title and had been a perennial power housse for 20+ years.
