my buddy bought East Regional tix months ago for face value...I think he said like $350/ticket for the weekend or something like that. Its in DC. now with Duke and VT there, seats in his same area are going for $1,000-$1,500/each on Stubhub. He is a Nova grad like me so he doesnt really care about the games all that much, so I think hes gonna sell them for a really nice profit.
I really hope the Auburn that played against Kansas shows up against UNC and not the one that played NMSU.
sad that not ONE of Murray, Wofford, Buffalo, Irvine could've moved on. it's a blue bloods type of tournament this year i guess.
Watching highlights of that Duke UCF game, Zion's 2nd jump is nuts. I'm not sure finishing against length will be that big of an issue for him at the next level because if he gets blocked, he's quick enough to grab the ball right back and slam it before the initial shot blocker has a chance to react.
Y’all will appreciate this. Our district manager (who is not from Knoxville) sent an email to all 11 stores in the district asking why all 11 stores missed sales plan during a selection of days and hours. They were... First set: Kentucky semifinal hours Second set (an entire day): SEC Final Third set: first round game hours Fourth set (an entire day): second round game And all the store managers were like “who is gonna tell her?”
So long Nate Oats, it's been a fun ride, best of luck at Bama. You can all return to not caring about Buffalo again
Hurley leaving feels way more recent than 2015, I was so surprised when I saw that it was that long ago. Also, I wonder if he'll miss the dream lakehouse oats just got last summer Haha
One of my co-workers said the same thing like "didn't he just buy a million dollar house on Grand Island last year?" And I was like "yeah but think about what kind of house a million would get you in Alabama...
He is a hell of a coach if you ask me. The program didn't skip a beat after Bobby Hurley left in 2015 and multiple players left with him. Oats was the main recruiter for Hurley and continued pulling in some of the strongest recruits UB has ever had on his own. Seems like a genuinely good person also. I wish him and his family nothing but the best
My operating principle is that, until proven otherwise, never trust Rick Barnes, who couldn’t take a team with Durant and DJ Augustine out of the 2nd round.
It appears the trend of average three shooting team goes berserk against us continues. Just got home from work. The local commentating team on the radio seemed none too pleased about the reffing both ways.
