I don’t like Kansas or Duke, but I hate Kansas a little less. So yay I guess. I’m gonna watch so much duke next year though. Barrett is a can’t miss talent.
Tossing some Porter Jr injury aside. You can already count on Barrett going #1 in the draft in 2019. Probably to the Magic after they only win 8 games next year.
A Third Woman Accuses Jeremy Piven of Sexual Assault: 'I Was Fighting Back Tears' Good gif. Good likes.
With duke losing and all my interest in the rest of the tourney gone the highlight of the tournament for me is unc getting blown out by 20 or whatever it was
UMBC for me. I’ll remember that forever. (And the best team in the country/Nova fans being super scared to play Duke.)
Fun tournament. I think this is a perfect final four. You have 2 or 3 legit teams...and 1 fun wild card mid major. Like...i like the fact that 3 of the final four is totally guessable...andd we get a fun team too. And the fun team isn't like 9 seed Kansas State or something boring like that. I can't think of a finals I wouldn't be into
There was bad officiating on all sides. I’m looking at calls like that one on Svi and the missed contact with out of bounds calls. That was definitely a charge at the end, but it’s shortsighted to narrow the bad officiating down to that one call.
Just wanted to say: Third place in the Chorus pool (had Virginia winning it all...). Nova will likely win the championship.
I Just checked and I am somehow 8th in the Chorus pool lol only one other person ahead of me has Nova to win it all
oh shit, i figured he'd eventually ascend the throne in durham this means my secret hope is still possible: jon scheyer as HC
I am interested to see how this works out for him. As much as I like some of the recent changes over the years to the G-League, I don't think there is enough investment or team foundations set up to where this really makes sense. The lifestyle is not as good as college, you don't have coaches that will have conflicts of interest regarding your development. The travel is a lot rougher compared to college. That said, if you can overcome these obstacles and the many others, I think you will have shown the league you are for real, so there is some upside. I just really have some doubts though.
going 3-0 vs Ohio State and winning the NIT isn't a terrible consolation prize for not making the tourney. should have a solid shot at making it next year.
