I just realized Bobby Hurley left Buffalo for Arizona State. Totally forgot. That reminds me... when the hell is Thon Maker going to pick a school already. He's been teasing Arizona State and Notre Dame for months now.

Forgot I picked Buffalo over Miami, not a big believer in the hurricanes at all.

The homer in me wanted to because Miami either looks like a world beater or trash, but I couldn't.

Yeah and took two of the key players from last year with him. And then Justin Moss, who was the best player on the team last year, was kicked out of UB for stealing from a football player, and Will Regan graduated. I have a lot of respect for Bearden for staying when the others left. This team...they're so young, they might be representing the MAC for a few years.

 

I just love how their uniforms say New York in big blue letters lol #represent

 

There arent too many worse commercials than that Arby's Reuben commercial

 

They started this in...2014? Since SUNY doesn't have anything like "THE Ohio State University" when it comes to sports and they have a tough time recruiting from down south or some nonsense. Regardless, the idea was to market it to kids as the flagship SUNY school for sports. But then they won't pour the necessary money in to be a perennial MAC power and maybe get into C-USA or the A10

It's a great idea. Obviously we know all of the SUNY schools being from New York, but a kid down south or the southwest doesn't know anything about Albany or Buffalo. It's easy for Syracuse to label themselves "New York's university" to college sports fans because everyone knows them but it's much tougher for a SUNY.

 

I have to say, FGCU would be the perfect school to finally pull off the 16/1 upset
