One of my favorite artists. Saw her in a basement on valentine's day in 2017 and it was magical. Very excited for this album, bummed there's no cd copies.

This is great. The kind of album I want to take with me on a night walk.

I saw her play two summers ago with some of the Other People Records roster and what a show that was. Trade Wind, Souvenirs, Many Rooms, Wander. I would love to see her play again.

 

Just popping in to say I've listened to this record 16 times in the last week and it's probably my favorite thing released so far this year.

Her entire Twitter is down and all the replies are painting a pretty bad picture of what was last posted there.

 

Knew I shoulda screenshot those tweets, had to only be a matter of time.

Basically, she proudly proclaimed that she voted for Donald Trump and mostly said it was because she was tired of cancel culture. Then she said the r-word and said that words don’t offend her or something. And then some stuff from her personal Twitter was found and it was some actual neo nazi shit

 

I missed that last part, crazy. Glad to know though.

Anyway yeah fuck many rooms. Not that it really matters at all, but I wonder what the better off guy thinks about his prime defender turning out to be an objective piece of shit. Assuming he doesn’t also align with neo nazi ideology, that’s gotta fucking sting

Man, this is a pretty huge bummer for me. I really connected with a lot on this album and was looking forward to its follow up. I was just playing some of the songs on guitar yesterday thinking that I needed to revisit it... Like I want to give people the right to have diff opinions, but those tweets are a little more than just having a more conservative stance on stuff.
