I like all three songs released so far. I'm especially enjoying the melodies Keith has been using for his singing. Fortunately, above all else, both bands are clicking for me in different ways.
Forgot to post, I saw them last week and all the other new songs sounded great. Band doesn’t have a ton of stage presence at this juncture. Hard not to compare them to the energy of Jordan & Mitch. But it was their 2nd show ever so they prolly deserve some slack.
Some of the unreleased songs they’re playing live right now sound really, really good. I think they’re opening with a song called “Harbinger” and it RIPS. I wonder when we’ll get a full length announcement. I’m fairly certain they have the songs already to release one.
Yep, full length has been done for a little while. On patreon, Keith hinted at an early spring announcement and release so hopefully we'll hear something pretty soon
Is that the first time Keith's said that he was diagnosed bipolar? Really hope this works out for him, really cements that ETID is probably long buried now but it's nice him still having the same drive to perform music.
He wrote about it on the band website when they announced. The string of events this dude has been through were wild. Early sobriety in covid, putting out an amazing record and touring after a massive life change. Livinig out of an RV for 6 months. Remarrying. It will probably be a couple of years before all of this is sorted. I hope the ETID crew can reconcile whether or not they ever play music together again. Making a mend is a fundamental part of recovery and still seems a ways away for both camps. Glad Keith is feeling healthy and having a meaningful experience with this new band.
